WHAT IS THE ADVANCED PARTS CLASS?
This two-day training course goes beyond standard prismatic parts, to teach you how to create parts with organic shapes. You will learn advanced modeling techniques and features that will help you transition easily over to surface modeling. Some of the advanced techniques covered in the course include:
- Sweeps, lofts and boundary features
- Creating helical sweeps to create threaded features
- Splines
- Blending 2D sketches into 3D geometry
WHO IS THE ADVANCED PARTS COURSE DESIGNED FOR?
Ideally, the Advanced Parts course is perfect for you if you are an intermediate or slightly advanced user who wants to expand on your knowledge of SOLIDWORKS, past creating geometry using basic extrusions and revolved features.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE THIS COURSE FROM DASI SOLUTIONS?
Step out of your comfort zone and get past simple extrusions and revolves. In this course, DASI’s certified instructors will help you quickly go from a beginner to intermediate SOLIDWORKS user, or from intermediate to advanced in just one class!
HOW MUCH DOES THIS COURSE COST?
Standard classroom training costs $600 per student.
*This course is part of the curriculum for the DASI Solutions Apprenticeship Program, certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.
