SOLIDWORKS Electrical Level 1 Implementation:
  • Solidworks Electrical has many ways it can be configured and setup of libraries is very important. The Level 1 implementation includes: SQL Express Installation, Solidworks Electrical Software Installation, Default Symbol Libraries Setup, and Template Setup to link properties to the title blocks. Designed to get you up and running with Electrical quickly.

 

SOLIDWORKS Electrical Level 2 Implementation: 
  • The Level 2 Electrical Implementation is designed to be fully customizable. Some of the options are: More advanced setup, Additional templates, Integration to PDM, Additional libraries, etc. Contact our service team to line up a call to discuss your implementation needs.

 

Electrical Update:
  • Tech Support can provide you documentation on how to upgrade your Solidworks Electrical software. If you would like DASI to handle it for you we can line up a remote or onsite upgrade. Service includes Environment backup, Server Software upgrade and all client workstations updated to the desired Service Pack..

 

SOLIDWORKS Electrical Server Move: 
  • A Service Tech will capture an environment archive to backup all electrical projects and setup. Install electrical on the new server, and unarchive the environment. Update each client to point to the new server location to ensure proper functionality. Delivered onsite or remotely.

Moving data from various locations into a PDM vault can be a daunting task. If you would like DASI Solutions to migrate your data for you, there are multiple paid services available below.

 

Workgroup Vault Migration:
  • There are special utilities DASI can use to migrate your workgroup data into PDM Standard or Professional. This optionally includes all mapped properties, Revisions, and life cycle states. Generally timed with Go Live of an implementation of PDM. Delivered onsite or remotely.

 

Network Drive Migration: 
  • There are many things to consider when bringing in mass amounts of data from network drives. A service tech will scope the migration, and copy all needed files into PDM to ensure the best quality of data post migration. Generally timed with a Go Live of an implementation of PDM, but not required. Delivered onsite or remotely.

PDM Server Move:
  • A Service Tech will backup the PDM system and move the components to a new server. Includes installation of SQL, PDM and creation of the needed registry changes to configure the moved server. Instructions on how to update the clients is also included. Delivered remotely.

PDM Replication:
  • A Service Tech will work with IT to configure and setup a replicated archive at a remote location. Includes installation of PDM on the remote server, creation and configuration of replicated vault and a replication schema. Delivered remotely only.
 
Web2 Setup: 
  • A Service Tech will work with IT to configure and setup Web2 server. Includes setup of IIS, installation and configuring of the Web2 server to allow access to vaulted files through internet protocols. Delivered remotely only.

Automated Task Setup:
  • A Service Tech will configure PDM tasks to automatically save one file type to another. Depending on year of PDM, SOLIDWORKS save as, Office to PDF and Draftsight to PDF are available. Delivered remotely.

 

PDM Professional Level 1 Implementation: 
  • PDM Professional has many options and different ways it can be configured. The Level 1 Implementation is designed to get your system configured for CAD data. Includes installation, configuration and training. Covers workflows, datacards, variables and folder structure for your CAD data. Delivered onsite or remotely.

 

PDM Professional Level 2 Implementation: 
  • Includes everything in Level 1, but adds additional configuration for non-CAD files, workflows, datacards and templates for the Engineering Change process at your company. Delivered onsite or remotely.
