DASI Solutions Features Objet 3D Printing at Design-2-Part Show
Pontiac, Michigan (September 28, 2010) – American contract manufacturing will be the focus at the Greater Ohio Design-2-Part (D2P) Show, October 6 & 7, 2010 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron, Ohio. This event is one of 12 annual D2P Shows that are held in major manufacturing hubs throughout the United States featuring nearly 150 exhibiting companies.
DASI Solutions (Booth 623) will be exhibiting Objet Technologies line of 3D printers used for rapid product development, industrial design and additive manufacturing. The Connex, Eden and Alaris product lines offer state of the art PolyJet technologies which provide high resolution, smooth surface and fine details created in an office friendly environment. “The Connex system has the unique ability to combine multiple materials including rigid plastic and elastomeric properties to create parts and assemblies with different mechanical properties,” said David Darbyshire of DASI Solutions. “The ability to create diverse concept models will enable simultaneous product review and testing at the earliest stages of design”.
As America’s longest-running design and contract manufacturing tradeshows, the Design-2-Part Shows provide OEM engineers and purchasers a strategic venue for U.S. sourcing of custom parts and components, as well as design, prototyping, and manufacturing services. Attendees can solve their manufacturing challenges by meeting face-to-face with manufacturing experts from local and national job shops. In addition to DASI Studios, contract manufacturing companies will exhibit their design-through-manufacturing services, covering more than 300 product categories for the metals, plastics, rubber, and electronics industries.
Show hours are 9:30-3:30 on Wednesday, October 6, and 9:30-3:00 on Thursday, October 7. Attendance is free to qualified industry personnel. For more information about the Greater Ohio Design-2-Part Show or to register for free show admission, please visit www.D2P.com.
