Connex 500 PolyJet 3D Printer
The Connex 500 provides true product realism by combining the virtually endless possibilities of more than 100 different materials with the highest levels of productivity and a large build envelope. The Objet500 Connex combines rapid prototyping speed with very thin layers so you can create large parts, or even multiple parts made of different materials, quickly and accurately.
This technology is great for high resolution, snap fingers, less prevalent layering effect, and completely watertight. With this machine we are able to print with two materials at once, creating different blends to better suit your needs.
PolyJet 3D Printing is similar to inkjet document printing. But instead of jetting drops of ink onto paper, PolyJet 3D Printers jet layers of liquid photopolymer onto a build tray and cure them with UV light. The layers build up one at a time to create a 3D model or prototype. Fully-cured models can be handled and used immediately, without additional post-curing. Along with the selected model materials, the 3D printer also jets a gel-like support material specially designed to uphold overhangs and complicated geometries. It is easily removed using a WaterJet.
The Fortus 400mc™
The FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling printer that we use at DASI is our Fortus 400mc. The FDM printer can produce parts in materials with higher heat deflection as well as durability and strength (great for production). With this machine we are able to print parts at a more affordable price to meet customer’s costs.
The Fortus 400mc™ allows you to manufacture Real PartsTM in-house with multiple production-grade thermoplastics, such as ABS-M30, PC, PPSF, ULTEM* 9085, PC-ABS blend and more. Fortus 400mc is a user configurable high-performance workhorse, ideal for creating Real Parts for conceptual models, functional prototypes, manufacturing tools, and end-use parts.
The Fortus 400mc coupled with Insight™ front-end processing software lets you quickly manufacture parts that match your mechanical, thermal, aesthetic and resolution needs. With the Fortus 400mc, you can accurately manufacture Real Parts with complex geometries, that are strong enough not only for functional testing, but end use as well.
Fortus systems use a wide range of thermoplastics with advanced mechanical properties so your parts can endure high heat, caustic chemicals, sterilization, and high impact applications.
DASI Solutions 3D Printing department is where the fun happens. It’s when a customer can take a concept, design the part, and then see that part come to life. Here at DASI, we work with our customers at every step of the journey to help them select the proper materials, find the most cost effective solutions, and put that reality into their hands in an unparalleled time frame.
DASI Solutions 3D Printing abilities DASI Solutions has two different kinds of 3D printing technologies; FDM (Fuel Deposition Module) as well as Polyjet, which includes rubber over molding. Having these capabilities gives our customers a variety of ways for us to provide them with the exact applications needed. This is where we maintain a competitive edge on the competition being able to appeal to a vast variety of industries.
