Create Prototypes for Polypropylene Products
We offer two PolyJet photopolymers that simulate the appearance and functionality of polypropylene.
Rigur (RGD450) is an advanced Simulated Polypropylene material that offers durability and a beautiful surface finish. Use it to quickly build tough prototypes for snap-fit components, living hinges and other demanding applications.
Rigur is an office-friendly material engineered to deliver reliable performance and impressive, dimensionally stable prototypes. It comes in a bright, true white with PolyJet technology’s signature fine resolution and smooth curves. For added versatility, 20 Digital Materials combine Rigur with flexible photopolymers to produce a range of grayscale shades and Shore A values.
Durus (RGD430) is the original Simulated Polypropylene material, and exhibits great impact resilience and an elongation at break of 44 percent.
Single and dual-material 3D printing
Rigid Opaque photopolymers provide excellent detail visualization in gray, black, white and blue. 3D print smooth, attractive prototypes to test the fit, form and function of static parts, moving components or complex assemblies. You can also produce accurate jigs, fixtures and manufacturing tooling.
For the Objet30 Pro, Objet30 Prime and Objet Eden260VS 3D printers, the Rigid Opaque Vero family includes:
- VeroWhitePlus (RGD835)
- VeroGray (RGD850)
- VeroBlue (RGD840)
- VeroBlackPlus (RGD875)
Color and multi-material 3D printing
On either system, Rigid Opaque materials can be blended with other photopolymers to vary hardness, flexibility, translucency or heat resistance. Learn more about Digital Materials.
For multi-material systems, the Vero family includes:
- VeroGray (RGD850)
- VeroBlue (RGD840)
- VeroBlackPlus (RGD875)
- VeroCyan
- VeroMagenta
- VeroYellow
- VeroBlack
- VeroWhitePlus
- Vero PureWhite, a brilliant white 20 percent brighter than VeroWhitePlus with twice the opacity
3D Printing With Transparent Material
Transparent material (RGD720) is a multipurpose transparent PolyJet photopolymer for standard clear plastics simulation. It combines high dimensional stability with surface smoothness.
Transparent material (VeroClear-RGD810) is a rigid, nearly colorless material featuring proven dimensional stability for general purpose, fine-detail model building and visual simulation of transparent thermoplastics such as PMMA.
Rubber-like material is also available in translucent to simulate a variety of elastomer characteristics in see-through models. Combine with color materials on the Connex3 systems to render a range of opacities, hues and hardnesses.
Translucent shades and patterns
With Objet Connex 3D Printers, you can combine transparent and black materials to create artistic patterns and a variety of translucent shades. Incorporate transparent and opaque, rubber-like or simulated polypropylene materials into one model.
Easy support removal
Increase productivity and gain even more design freedom with the ability to easily remove support material from delicate features and small cavities. Soluble support material (SUP706) empowers hands-free removal, plus improved manual or WaterJet removal. It is compatible with all PolyJet materials (except hearing aid and dental materials) and works on all Connex1, Connex2 and Connex3 systems.
A wide range of applications
Transparent materials are ideal for applications including:
- Form and fit testing of clear or see-through parts
- Glass, eyewear, lighting covers and light-cases
- Visualization of liquid flow
- Color dyeing
- Medical applications
- Artistic and exhibition modeling
