Your Smart Source for SOLIDWORKS Solutions

A smile and a handshake...That's how we like to get the job done. 3D Design Software, 3D PrintingDesign Automation & SimulationTraining Classes and Learning Resources are just a few of the things we are proud of.

DigitalMaterials Telescope3D print in hundreds of composite materials

Create prototypes with a wide range of physical properties, colors and tones. Digital Materials empower you to bring your designs to life with realistic colors and textures faster than ever before.

 What are Digital Materials?

A Digital Material is the result of combining two or three PolyJet photopolymers in specific concentrations and microstructures to create a composite material with hybrid characteristics. All possible combinations are preconfigured and selectable in Objet Studio and PolyJet Studio Software to ensure predictable, repeatable results. PolyJet flex palette demonstrating Digital Materials

You can see that the hue varies from yellow to magenta with a range of oranges in between, while the color intensity and opacity fade as the flexibility increases.

The 3D printing possibilities

A single model 3D printed on the Stratasys J750 can incorporate over 360,000 colors and an astonishing array of materials in a single build process. These are just some of the possibilities:

Simulate a variety of elastomers by combining rigid and flexible materials. Digital ABS. 3D print cost-effective injection molds for prototypes and pilot runs. 3D print tough jigs and fixtures that can be replaced on-demand. Produce photorealistic details with a gamut of more than 360,000 colors.

3D print strong, stable parts

ULTEM 1010’s outstanding strength and thermal stability make it ideal for advanced tooling and prototyping applications in the automotive, aerospace, medical and food-production industries. Its food-contact and biocompatibility certifications expand the use of additive manufacturing into applications like custom food-production tools and autoclave-sterilizable medical devices.

ULTEM 1010 resin offers the highest heat resistance, chemical resistance and tensile strength of any FDM thermoplastic. The certified grade of this material is biocompatible and approved for food contact with NSF 51 and ISO 10993/USP Class VI certifications. Produce large custom tools for metal, plastic or composite parts fabrication; 3D print medical tools like surgical guides that can withstand steam autoclaving; build temperature-resistant dies, patterns and fixtures for food production; even manufacture out-of-cabin aerospace components and under-the-hood automotive components including housings, ducts and semi-structural components.

ULTEM 1010 resin is available in a general-purpose grade (ULTEM 1010) as well as a certified grade (ULTEM 1010 CG) for customers who want to take advantage of food-contact and bio-compatibility certifications for special applications including food production tools and custom medical applications. ULTEM 1010 works with improved, easy-to-use breakaway support material.

Applications include: Custom tools for metal, plastic or composite parts fabrication Medical tools like surgical guides that can withstand steam autoclaving Temperature-resistant dies, patterns and fixtures for food production Out-of-cabin aerospace components and under-the-hood automotive components including housings, ducts and semi-structural components Options include: Certified grade (ULTEM 1010 CG) for customers who want to take advantage of food-contact and bio-compatibility certifications.
