DASI Solutions Celebrates 20th Anniversary with Customer Appreciation Event
The 3rd annual DASI Dream Cruise Open House Event will be held in downtown Pontiac to help kick off the company's 20th anniversary celebration.
PONTIAC, MI, July 21, 2015 – Pontiac-based DASI Solutions is celebrating twenty years in business this fall. DASI started out as a small tech startup company, but has built a solid reputation as a premier Value-Added Reseller for products for the Designing Engineer, including SOLIDWORKS 3D software and Stratasys 3D printing technology. Today, the company has four regional offices, located in Pontiac, Canton, Grandville and Mishawaka, Indiana.
To help celebrate this milestone, the company will be hosting their third annual DASI Dream Cruise Open House on Thursday, August 13, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Since moving the DASI headquarters to downtown Pontiac, Co-Owner David Darbyshire has taken advantage of their location in the wide track loop of Woodward to help kick off Dream Cruise weekend with a party in the company’s back parking lot. The party has drawn large crowds over the past two years, attracting people with a variety of interests, from classic cars to engineering and manufacturing technologies to those who want to see a 3D printer in action. For 2015, Darbyshire hopes to attract more of the customers who helped the company achieve this great milestone so that they can celebrate together.
“We spend so much time focusing on sales and meeting goals; this is the one day of the year we can just focus on getting to know our customers, leveraging the Dream Cruise atmosphere to bring people together in a casual setting,” said Darbyshire. “The event grows every year, so there is no doubt in my mind that this will be the best year yet. I am excited to bring together the people – both customers and employees – who have made the last twenty years possible.”
The DASI Dream Cruise Open House will just be the start of the 20th anniversary celebration. With customers throughout Michigan and Indiana, DASI Solutions plans to utilize their SOLIDWORKS 2016 rollout events in the fall to continue the celebration throughout the territory.
