PONTIAC, MI, February 2, 2018 - DASI Solutions is elated to announce that for the first time in 22 years as a Charter Professional Channel Reseller of Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD, the company has earned one of the most challenging awards given out in the SOLIDWORKS Reseller Community: Subscription Services – Elite “190” Club. Recipients of this award are those who have achieved a sum of over 190% Initial & Renewal rates of the annual maintenance.
After the recent acquisition of another Reseller in 2016, DASI Solutions rebranded its Subscription Service team to ensure that the department was built to the needs of its customers, as well as the strengths of each team member. There are currently five individuals that make up the team, each perfectly placed in positions to enhance their skills. The team reformed their processes & strengthened their focus on retention and recapture. They are highly invested in the retention of their current customers, and not just new growth. “Validating,” said Lynnette Coleman, Subscription Service Manager at DASI, when asked about her feelings after winning the award. “We see so much value in the Subscription that we offer, and we try to pass it on to our customers.
Accomplishing Elite validates that over 95% of our customers also see the added benefits of maintaining subscription service annually.”
Prior to achieving its Elite status, DASI Solutions was asked to present at the upcoming SOLIDWORKS World Convention in Los Angeles, California. This convention is attended by thousands of users, enthusiasts, resellers, and supporters within the SOLIDWORKS community, and is by far one of the most anticipated events in the engineering industry. SOLIDWORKS Reseller Increases Footprint into Kansas and Missouri PONTIAC, MI, November 29, 2017–
DASI Solutions (DASI), an original Professional Channel reseller of Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD and design solutions, is expanding its reach once again, signing a contract to expand its Midwest territory to include Missouri and Kansas. The company recently expanded, in 2016, through the acquisition of San Diego based Digital Dimensions, another SOLIDWORKS reseller. This new expansion will make the company’s sales footprint now include Arizona, California, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan and Missouri, making it one of the largest SOLIDWORKS resellers in North America.
The SOLIDWORKS leadership offered this additional sales territory to DASI after seeing the team’s success and commitment to growth in both the Midwest and Western US regions.

DASI Solutions holds Open House Event during National Apprenticeship Week
PONTIAC, MI, November 9, 2017 – In partnership with the US Department of Labor and hundreds of businesses nationwide, DASI Solutions will once again participate in National Apprenticeship Week by holding an Open House event for the third year in a row. The event will take place on November 14 at its Downtown Pontiac Headquarters.
During this event, DASI will showcase its Industrial Design Technician Apprenticeship Program in an effort to bring awareness to the skilled trades gap that is being left by the retiring “baby boomers”. The guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a facility tour where they will get a firsthand look at DASI’s SOLIDWORKS CAD training lab, as well as the in-house STEM Studio.
The Apprenticeship movement has gained momentum in the past few years; there are roughly 545,000 apprentices nationwide in over 1,000 different occupations. DASI’s Apprenticeship Program, which was launched in 2015, currently has 40 apprentices registered from over 20 companies. DASI has partnered with Focus: HOPE & JAMA to gain access to a portion of the federal American Apprenticeship Initiative Grant, which totaled $3 million. Utilizing this grant access on an individual company basis, DASI Solutions can offset the cost of the training for apprentices up to 50%.
The standards for the Industrial Design Apprenticeship program are held through DASI Solutions, which greatly reduces the burden to employer partners. What this means is that all of the administrative and/or clerical paperwork, documentation, record keeping and even accounting for the grant is taken care of by DASI. The need for a well-rounded, straightforward and easy-to-join apprenticeship was the one of the reasons DASI created the Industrial Design Apprenticeship program. “Employees will need to continue learning and gaining new skills throughout their careers. The Industrial Design Technician Apprenticeship Program is a mechanism to help both new hires and current employees develop today’s required skill set in Engineering Design. We are not training for just a job; we’re literally training them for a career” stated Annette Norris, Apprenticeship Manager for DASI Solutions.
